Fancy an early spin this Sun, anyone? I know it's bank holiday, but have just sorted new brakes for my bike after hydraulics failure & seized pistons on the old ones led weeks of being grounded, so itching to get going again. Suggest 10am in 3 Rock - anyone know what state the trails are? If not an option then maybe Ballinastoe ?
Cheers,
Denis

3 rock
Tue 10/26/10 by denisdeasyChecked the Coillte website & they are currently constructing the new trails at 3rock, so headed for Ballinastoe yesterday instead. Had a blast in a decent time (for me!) of 70 min, so not as unfit as I thought. The newly fitted brakes, a mate's spare Giant MPH-3's, made it feel like a brand new bike, great progressive control, was able to slide the back around hairpins & keep momentum going, sweet.
As for the front forks, thought they were going to snap in 2, they were flexing & bottoming so much, so that's another days work
Glad you enjoyed the Wicklow Way, might get out Thursday morning, maybe see you then...
